Before 2018 started I made the plan to read more books. Since having kids, I know I’ve fallen way behind on my reading. My kids are five now, I think it’s time to really put some time back into myself.
The first book I read in 2018 was Bitten by Noelle Marie. I do have to point out that I listened to the audio book on Hoopla, I did not have a hard copy or the ebook.
Overall, I liked the story. It goes along the common story line for many young adult werewolf tales. The main Character Katherine is bitten by a werewolf and then her life changes dramatically.
Long story short, she ends up living in what I think of as a werewolf compound, but there are no fences to keep her in, just an overbearing alpha. The main character is represented as either a feminist or a contending alpha in the making, which was a little irksome at times.
There are several cliches that are covered, but the story held my attention. With some books once my attention is pulled away, that’s it for me.
After reading the book I am interested in reading the continuation of the story, but it will most likely be in audio book format as well.
I started reading my next book today, and I’m sure I will be finished with it soon since I’m having a hard time putting it down.
